The Nigeria Police Force has released the charge sheet of “fake police officer, an ordinary ASP that is reportedly richer than a king”, who goes by the official name “ASP Bernard Agada”.

According to the charge sheet made available to Elombah.com by Eagle Eyes Transparency International on Thursday, he is being prosecuted on seven-count charge, viz:

1. Forgery

2. impersonation

3. Illicit wealth

4. Falsification of official documents, etc.

Elombah.com had, on December 1, reported that “ASP Bernard Agada”, who was actually revealed to be “George Ejeh Stephen”, was arraigned in a Federal Capital Territory [FCT] High Court.

The court remanded him in Kuje Prison and later granted him bail after meeting the bail conditions stipulated by the court.

Reacting to the remand and subsequent bail, Eagle Eyes Transparency International wrote the Inspector General of Police, Ibrahim Kpotum Idris, as follows:

“Dear IGP, we appreciate your stand on the prosecution of the ASP Bernard Agada.

“We bring to your attention that our agent who petitioned the ASP Bernard also petitioned Nasidi Abdusalsami, Awute Linus & Kehinde Akintunde John of N43 Billion Naira Ebola, Global, Gavi funds in our health sector.

“We request you look beyond the oppressive mechanism adopted and do a discreet investigation like IGP Hassan Abbah started.

“We shall not relent. Nasidi Abdusalami came to tell you fabricated lies over fake or no fake doctor. The matters are in court.

“What have you established on the submitted petitions of the looted N43 Billion?”
