The Chairman of the Police Service Commission in Nigeria, DIG Hashimu Argungu (rtd), has congratulated the 2022 Police Constables on their successful completion of training and induction into the Nigeria Police Force.

At the Passing Out Parade ceremony held on January 23rd, 2025, Argungu commended the new constables for undergoing the rigorous training program, which has prepared them for the challenging tasks of maintaining law and order, and protecting lives and properties in the country.

“I want to congratulate you for successfully completing this training programme and for the nation to have found you worthy to wear this uniform,” Argungu said.

Argungu reminded the new constables of the importance of their role in maintaining peace and security in Nigeria.

He acknowledged the security challenges facing the nation, including banditry, kidnapping, and terrorism, and urged the new constables to work in partnership with other security agencies to eliminate or reduce these challenges.

The Chairman emphasized the Commission’s commitment to supporting the new constables throughout their career.

He assured them that the Commission would closely monitor their activities and recognize gallantry and commitment to duty.

“The Commission expects that you conduct yourself in a manner deserving of a Police Officer,” Argungu cautioned.

Argungu concluded by wishing the new constables a rewarding and productive career in the Nigeria Police Force. “The sky is your limit, and I wish you a rewarding and productive career in the Nigeria Police Force,” he said.
