Police To Deal With Officer, Bello Salihu That Vowed To Eliminate Bachama People From Adamawa

A police personnel, by name Salihu Bello has vowed promised to chase and kill Bachama people of Adamawa state within twenty-four hours.

Salihu Bello said this in a message posted on Facebook, account name: “Bello Salihu“, Force number: 341629.

He said that they [not specifying who he meant by “they”] will chase Bachama people out of Adamawa State, same way they were chased out of Sokoto.

He claimed that Adamawa is a land of the Fulanis, hence that Bachama Kingdom will be destroyed within two weeks.

True to his threats, the region was attacked in a very brutal fashion by assailants leaving tens of victims dead.

However, following the torrent of outrage and condemnation by Nigerians, Salihu Bello recanted and claimed that his account was hacked.

He wrote: “Hi everyone! Please ignore any recent post said to be done by me, about any crisis going on in Adamawa state. 

“My account hacked. I pray the Almighty expose my enemies. Please ignore further post of such nature. Thanks everyone.”

Bello is currently serving in Mayo-Belwa, a Local Government Area of Adamawa State in Nigeria.

Consequently, Elombah.com contacted the Police Public relations Officer [PPRO] Adamawa State, Mr Othman Abubakar.

Mr Abubakar appreciated the gesture and promised to take disciplinary action against the said officer as soon as the allegation against him is established.

He reiitreated that Police should be non-partisan and neutral in tribal, political, or any other group matters.
