President Tinubu makes fresh appointment

President Bola Tinubu has appointed Mr Jami’u Abiola as the Senior Special Assistant to the President on Linguistics and Foreign Matters.

This was disclosed in a statement by Segun Imohiosen, Director of Information and Public Relations, on behalf of the Secretary to the Government of the Federation.

According to the statement, the appointment is effective November 14, 2024.

Jami’u Abiola, who previously served as the Special Assistant to the President on Special Duties in the Office of the Vice President, brings extensive experience to his new role.

Also, Mr Tinubu has directed him to collaborate closely with the Federal Ministry of Foreign Affairs to enhance Nigeria’s international relations and linguistic diplomacy.
