Protest: Benue Citizens Storm National Assembly Over Killings

Over hundred people stormed the entrance of National Assembly from Benue state on Thursday to register their displeasure to continuous killings ‎by Fulani herdsmen in Benue communities.

The protester besieged the entrance the National Assembly with placards as “Suspecting a wicked conspiracy of silence in the killings”.

It could be recalled that No fewer than seven persons are feared dead in a Fulani attack on Tiv community, Mkgovur village in Buruku local government area of Benue State last week.

Our correspondent gathered that Fulani herdsmen around 8 am yesterday invaded the community armed with guns and machete and unleashed terror on the villagers.
