#RioOlympics: Nigeria’s Chierika Ukogu qualifies for Rowing Semifinals

Chierika Ukogu is from Umuike Umuohama Ukpor in Anambra State.

She is the first Nigerian lone rower lady to represent Nigeria in International Competition.

The young lady sponsored herself to Rio Olympic Games in Brazil. 

She abandoned her Medical School program to train for this Olympics and paid her trainers.

She nearly loss the trip because of money issue.

She equally paid all her bills to represent Nigeria but still had a shortfall.

This lady was looking for help to attend the Olympic and nobody answered her.

Until Admiral Pobeni from Bayelsa state paid the bills including the flight ticket.
