Boma Goodhead, a member of the House of Representatives, has accused the controversial minister of the Federal Capital Territory, Barrister Nyesom Wike, of orchestrating the brutal killing of Bako Angbashim, a Divisional Police Officer in Ahoada East local government area of Rivers State.

The lawmaker who represents Asari-Toru federal constituency, said this on Friday when she and Honourable Awaji-Inombek Abiante led a solidarity march to the Rivers State Government House in support of governor Siminalayi Fubara.

The solidarity march is coming amidst the current political face-off between Fubara and his predecessor, Wike.

Also, Goodhead urged security agencies to question Wike over the death of Angbashim.

The DPO was killed during exchange of gunfire with a cult gang on September 8.

Police authorities launched a high-level manhunt for the perpetrators of the crime and have reported that suspects have been captured and are in custody.

Though, despite no known direct evidence pinning Mr Wike in the crime, Ms Goodhead, a sister to former Niger Delta militant leader, Asari Dokubo, said that the former governor and some others should be held responsible for the crime.

The federal lawmaker also alleged that Wike lost his polling unit during the presidential election.

Speaking further, Goodhead further accused Wike of looting $300 million meant for the Ogoni people, describing the FCT minister as ”a pathological and demonic liar.”

According to her, Wike has been boasting that he has the judiciary and the presidency in his pocket.
