Russia FIFA 2018 World Cup: Portugal Draws With Spain

Game four of the Russia FIFA 2018 World Cup between Portugal and Spain did not end without enough surprises after the sides ended with a 3-3 draw.

First it was Cristiano Ronaldo who put Portugal ahead twice, the first from an early penalty spot kick.

Ronaldo sent David de Gea the wrong way to becomes the fourth player to score in four World Cups, after Uwe Seeler, Pele and Miroslav Klose.

Spain, however, responded in kind through Diego Costa.

Ronaldo struck again only for Diego Costa to equalise a second time.

Nacho, who gave away penalty for opener, would later put Spain ahead but Cristiano’s third sees Portugal level with stunning free kick.

With the latest development, Cristiano had scored three goals in 13 World Cup appearances to date.

He needed just 90 minutes to double that total, bringing his all to six.
