Professor Sagay blatantly told the Senate: “You have no powers to summon me”.

In an earlier report, Elombah.com reported that the Senate on Wednesday dragged Sagay before its committee on Ethics and Privileges.

Sagay was summoned over some comments he made on the newspaper.

Decision of the Senate was sequel to point of order raised by Deputy leader of the Senate Ibn Bala Na’Allah.

Senator  Na’Allah said the Law Professor described Senators as people of questionable character.
