Saraki, Dogara Hail Osinbajo For Surviving Crash, Buhari Yet To React
President of the Senate, Dr. Abubakar Bukola Saraki has hailed Vice President Yemi Osinbajo [SAN] for surviving helicopter crash while on official tour to Kogi State on Saturday.
Dr. Saraki, in a tweet on his Twitter handle ‘joined all Nigerians in thanking Almighty God for sparing the life of Vice President Osinbajo, who survived a helicopter crash over Kabba, Kogi State today.’

On his part, Speaker of the House of Representatives, Rt. Hon. Yakubu Dogara also ‘joined His Excellency, Prof. Yemi Osinbajo in thanking the Almighty God for saving him and his team from any fatality in the unfortunate incident in Kogi State.’

He urged relevant authorities to conduct due diligence checks on all government owned aircraft to prevent a re-occurrence.

Commenting after the ugly development, Osinbajo assured Nigerians that he and his entourage are safe and sound.
He thanked everyone who has expressed concern and thank you to the crew who managed the situation well.
He expressed belief that God will continue to keep us and Nigeria safe even as we go higher and assured that he will continue #NextLevelEngagements in Kabba, Kogi State.
However, President Muhammadu Buhari is yet to react to the incident which took place hours ago.
