Saraki’s Trial Continues at CCT [Update]

The trail of the Senate President, Abubakar Bukola Saraki continued on Thursday, March 24, at the Code of Conduct tribunal [CCT].

It will reasonable  to remind our readers that the Senate President is facing trial on a 13-count charge of corruption and false declaration of assets.

The court resumed with dismissing Saraki’s motion to quash the charges proffered on him.

It then ordered the prosecution counsel to open its case.

The judge then added that the Attorney-General of the Federation [AGF] can file charges against the Senate President.

At the hearing, counsel to the Senate President, Mr. Agabi again announced that Mr. Saraki was represented by 80 lawyers.
