In another development, Senator Natasha Akpoti-Uduaghan’s remarks at the recent Inter-Parliamentary Union (IPU) meeting drew criticism from the Senate President.

Akpabio described her presentation as a misrepresentation of facts and an embarrassment to Nigeria.

He commended Representative Kafilat Ogbara for her prompt response through a press conference, which he described as timely and effective in addressing the situation.

The Senate remains committed to its legislative duties and has pledged to continue working towards policies and initiatives that promote national growth and stability.
