Senator Michael Opeyemi Bamidele (MOB), the Senate Leader, has firmly rejected claims of disagreements between himself and Otunba Niyi Adebayo. Additionally, he dismissed rumors of tensions between Governor Biodun Oyebanji and the Iyin Ekiti community. These reports emerged after the community proposed using Government Science College as a temporary site for the new Federal University of Technology and Environmental Sciences.

Speaking on the matter, Senator Bamidele labeled the allegations as entirely false. He stressed his close relationship with Otunba Adebayo, whom he affectionately called his “big brother.” Moreover, he confirmed their joint commitment to securing a smooth start for the university.

The senator also praised Governor Oyebanji for actively supporting the institution’s launch. He described their bond as unbreakable and reaffirmed his full backing of the governor’s policies. In fact, he expressed strong support for Governor Oyebanji’s re-election bid.

Senator Bamidele warned the public against believing what he called “manufactured stories” designed to create division. Instead, he encouraged citizens to focus on Ekiti’s growth, particularly in education and infrastructure. He emphasized that unity is crucial for lasting progress.

The Federal University of Technology and Environmental Sciences is set to boost innovation and learning in Ekiti. Accordingly, the senator pledged to ensure its successful takeoff.

This clarification highlights Senator Bamidele’s dedication to teamwork and development. Above all, it dispels any false narratives of discord among Ekiti’s key leaders.

The senator’s statement reassures stakeholders of his collaborative spirit. Similarly, it reinforces the importance of trust and cooperation in achieving shared goals.

Moving forward, he urged all parties to prioritize Ekiti’s advancement. Ultimately, he believes collective effort will drive meaningful change.
