In continuation of his resolve to advance education and support the welfare of indigent pupils, Senator Dr. Orji Uzor Kalu, through his Legislative Aide, M. U. Ayi, Esq., distributed educational materials, specifically school uniforms, to pupils of Ebem Primary School, Ohafia Local Government Area of Abia State.
The pupils, who were visibly delighted by the gesture, could not hide their joy as they received the school uniforms, expressing appreciation for the timely intervention, which will significantly support their educational development.
While speaking during the distribution exercise, the Head Teacher of Ebem Primary School commended Senator Dr. Orji Uzor Kalu for his unwavering commitment to the growth of education and the welfare of children in the area.
She prayed for God’s continued guidance, protection, and strength for the Senator as he continues to serve humanity selflessly.
Recall that Senator Dr. Orji Uzor Kalu has executed numerous landmark and people-oriented projects in Ohafia, an achievement widely regarded as unprecedented in the history of Abia North Senatorial District.
It is exquisite to mention that no Senator representing the district has, within a comparable period, undertaken such an extensive spread of infrastructural and educational interventions.
These projects include the construction and rehabilitation of critical roads such as Abia Road, Ohafia; Akanu Ukwu Road; Isiugwu Road; Ndiorieke Eziafor Road; Ebem Township Road; Elu Ohafia Township Road; and the Okagwe-Ohafia Road, as well as the construction of classroom blocks in Community Primary School, Amaekpu Ohafia; Ndi Uduma Awoke Primary School; Isiugwu Community School, among others.
Meanwhile, Senator Dr. Orji Uzor Kalu remains steadfast in his commitment to advancing education, promoting equal opportunities for all children, and improving the standard of learning across his constituency.
