Senator Ubah assures Ndi Nnewi of community dev’t as residents welcome him in grand style

The Senator representing Anambra South and Candidate of the Young Progressives Party (YPP) for the 2023 Anambra South Senatorial Election Dr Patrick Ifeanyi Ubah on Monday, reassured the people of Anambra South that their continuous support will cement his zeal to efficiently represent them at the Red Chamber.

Senator Ubah made the remarks while addressing ndị Uruagu at Obi Umumejiaku Uruagu Nnewi of Uruagu Ward 3 in Nnewi North Local Government Area of Anambra State.

Speaking at the event, the Senator who was warmly received by Uruagu community members appreciated the community for always defying all odds to maintain their massive supports for him. He further appreciated the community youths for believing in him and reassured them that their sacrifices shall never be in vain.

Senator Ubah who was accompanied by his wife Mrs Uche Ubah, Director-General of Ifeanyi Ubah Foundation Chief Vin Onyeka, party leaders and some stakeholders also appreciated the Obi of Umumejiaku Chief V.N Orizu for his roles in the sustenance of peace in the community and reassured him that in line with his principle of providing adequate supports to traditional institutions, he will extend his special intervention programme to the Obi by renovating the place.

He also informed ndị Uruagu that he recently flagged off the execution of “Operation Light-Up and Secure Anambra South Project” which features installation of solar powered facilities that are equipped with a Light-Emitting Diode (LED) light system and other powerful electronic gadgets that will help security agencies in surveillance and security analysis in all parts of the community and Anambra South in general.

The Senator also reassured the gathering that he will continue to partner with relevant authorities to ensure that Uruagu community enjoy the dividends of democracy.

Speaking on the forthcoming National Assembly and State Assembly elections, Senator Ubah extended further appreciation to ndị Uruagu for believing in him and urged them to consolidate their support and love for him by voting massively for YPP in the forthcoming National Assembly and State Assembly elections as that will guarantee sustenance of quality programmes and projects within the community and Anambra South in general.

Also speaking, the Chairman of YPP Stakeholders in Nnewi North Local Government Area Sir Nnamdi Udeaja (Banquo) appreciated Senator Ubah for his fatherly care and supports upon the people of Uruagu community.

Sir Udeaja also reassured the Senator that Uruagu Ward 3 will always support his political ambitions and urged residents to reciprocate the Senator’s overwhelming supports for the community by voting massively for YPP in the forthcoming National Assembly and State Assembly elections.

In his remarks, the Obi of Umumejiaku Chief V.N Orizu appreciated Senator Ubah for doing ndị Nnewi proud at the upper chamber of the National Assembly. He also appreciated him for his giant efforts towards promoting the wellbeing of his constituents and prayed God to bless his ambition.

Also present at the event were YPP Candidate for 2023 Nnewi North, Nnewi South and Ekwusigo Federal Constituency Election Hon Peter Uzokwe and the party’s Candidate for 2023 Nnewi North State Constituency Election Sir Augustine Ikedoji.
