Siasia’s Dream Team departs for Senegal on Wednesday

The U-23 National team, Dream Team VI will Wednesday depart from Banjul, Gambia where it has been camping for the past ten days for the CAF U-23 Africa Cup of Nations billed for Senegal.

According to the secretary of the team, Sirajo Hassan, the delegation made up of 23 players, 10 accompanying officials will depart the Banjul International Airport at about 11pm aboard Arik Airline for the thirty minutes flight to Dakar.

The team is expected to play its last friendly game against the Gambian U-20 side, the Baby Scorpions tomorrow by 4pm (5.00pm Nigerian time), before departing.

The team on arrival in Dakar will then proceed to Mbour, venue of its first 2 group B games.

The Dream Team VI will begin their quest to qualify for the Rio Olympics when they take on West African rivals Mali on Sunday 29th November at the Caroline Faye Stadium, in Mbour.
