In the quest to build more bridges, the youth wing of Southern Kaduna Peoples Union (SOKAPU), led by comrade Luke Augustine Duniya, paid a visit to the paramount Chief of Kudaru, HRH Yakubu Iliya Sauri in his Kaduna residence at Kamazou.
During the visit, the pioneer leader of the Union, comrade Sabastine Luka, speaking on behalf of the union congratulated his former deputy national coordinator who is now the paramount Chief of Kudaru, Bugwam Kurmi III on his elevation to the most prestigious position in Kurama land.
The Chief was briefed on the successes recorded so far by the new leadership and the proposed action plan aimed at repositioning the Union.
In his opening remark, the paramount ruler admonished the new leadership to be focused, determined and goal oriented for better Southern Kaduna.
Speaking further, he urged the leadership to imbibe the spirit of sportsmanship by ensuring that everyone is given a sense of belonging and also advised the leadership to engage on meaningful ventures.
He also reiterated the need for catchy programmes that will promote Southern Kaduna and cautioned youths against envy and bitterness as such can lead to destruction.
He however, encouraged the youth wing leadership to place the interest of the people they represent first and wish them God’s blessing and guidance in their future engagements.
