The African Democratic Congress’s (ADC) has accused Governor Chukwuma Charles Soludo of Anambra State and the All Progressive Grand Alliance (APGA) of spreading falsehoods.
ADC made the accusation in a statement signed by Mr. Ikechukwu Augustine Obah.
Mr. Obah noted that the aim was to distract Anambra residents from the dismal failure of the government to fulfill their constitutional obligations.
He, however, noted that no form of propaganda will deter ADC victory during the November 8, 2025, governorship election.
In the statement sighted by Diaspora Digital Media (DDM), Obah said:
“It is disheartening that the government of Charles Chukwuma Soludo and the All Progressive Grand Alliance (APGA) have resorted to spreading falsehoods to distract Ndi Anambra from their dismal failure to fulfill their constitutional obligations.
“In a desperate attempt to showcase their effectiveness, the state government claims credit for projects and programs initiated by previous administrations, falsely attributing them as their own achievements.”
Paying Communities To Sing Soludo Praises
Obah further accused Soludo of giving communities monies to coerce them to extol the virtues of the government.
He said: “To add insult to injury, they have resorted to presenting cheques to communities, coercing them into extolling the government’s virtues.
“This is a government that has neglected the impoverished, failed to deliver basic necessities, and has exacerbated the plight of the masses.
“A glaring example is the alleged donation of nearly N50,000,000 by the people of Ogidi community.
“Just weeks ago, residents of Irunabor Ogidi were in distress, pleading for assistance after their community was submerged by flooding.
“Now, the same individuals who were seeking aid have miraculously raised over N50,000,000 to support a government that has failed them.
“This narrative is nothing short of ludicrous.”
Abah warned the incumbent government to desist from inducement as the people can decipher the good from the evil.
He stated furth: “The people of Anambra have grown weary of the empty rhetoric of the current administration.
“They are determined to elect a credible leadership imbued with purpose, vision, and a genuine commitment to holistic state development within just four years.
“The masses are resolute in their intention to vote for Mr. John Chuma Nwosu and Dr. Geoffrey Ndubisi Nwobu, endorsing the African Democratic Congress’s (ADC) on November 8.”
