Governor Charles Chukwuma Soludo of Anambra State has approved full implementation of Consolidated Health Salary Structure (CONHESS) for Health Workers in the state.
This was disclosed in a directive signed by the Head of Service, Dame Theodora Okwy Igwegbe and obtained by Diaspora Digital Media (DDM).
According to the directive, Governor Soludo approved the one hundred per cent of the Consolidated Health Salary Structure for the various categories of health workers with immediate effect.
The directive reads:
“Mr. Governor has graciously approved the 100% implementation of the Consolidated Health Salary Structure (CONHESS) 2024 for the following categories of health workers in the state with immediate effect:
- Nurses and Nurses Anesthetist/Psychiatric
- Community Health Technicians
- Dental Therapists
- Medical Laboratory Scientists
- Medical Laboratory Technicians
- Pharmacy Technicians
- Radiographers
- Physiotherapists
2. The approval covers all health staff in the above categories.
3. All relevant Ministries, Departments, Agencies (MDM), the Local Government Service Commission, the Accountant-General for the State and the Accountant-General for Local Governments are to ensure immediate implementation of this directive.
