Soludo mourns as his deputy loses brother

The governor of Anambra State, Chukwuma Charles Soludo has commiserated with his Deputy, Dr. Onyekachukwu Ibezim, the Archbishop Ecclesiastical Province, Most Rev. Alexander Ibezim and their family members, over the death of their brother; Late Sir Nnamdi Ibezim.

Late Sir Ibezim died at age 65.

Speaking during the funeral service held at St Lawrence Mbaukwu Awka South Council Area, governor Soludo applauded the Ibezim family for complying with the state burial law and for giving their loved one a decent burial.

While commenting on his stance on the raging matter in the All Progressives Grand Alliance, APGA, Soludo stressed that the party remains indivisible under the Chairmanship of Barr. Sly Ezeokenwa and his executives.

Soludo expressed optimism that APGA will continue to grow stronger as the first truly progressive party in the country.

He reiterated the commitment of his government to conducting a local government election, saying that during the gubernatorial campaign that brought in his administration and even on the inauguration day, he had promised to do so, stressing that even now, his resolve is unflinching.

The Bishop on the Lake, Imo State, Rt. Rev. Chijioke Otti spoke on times and seasons on earth, praying God to grant the family the grace to bear the loss.

Speaking on behalf of the family, Dr. Onyekachukwu and Archbishop Ibezim thanked the Governor and the congregation for identifying with them in their low moment.

Secretary to the state government, Prof. Solo Chukwulobelu, Chief of Staff to the Governor, Mr. Ernest Ezeajughi, members of the state executive council, Traditional Rulers, among others attended the event.
