The Wife of the Anambra State Governor, Mrs. Nonye Soludo, has urged residents of the state who are medically eligible to embrace regular blood donation as part of efforts to strengthen healthcare delivery and save lives.

In a message to commemorate World Blood Donor Day, Mrs. Soludo commended voluntary blood donors for their consistent contributions to emergency healthcare, including support for pregnant women, accident victims, surgical patients, and individuals managing critical medical conditions.

She described blood donation as a simple but impactful humanitarian act, stressing that every unit of blood donated has the potential to save multiple lives and provide hope to families in distress.
