Barrister Atung, SAN, has declared that the Southern Kaduna is in need of a pragmatic leadership for even development

The legal guru made the declaration in his office when he received the national leadership of the Southern Kaduna Peoples Union (SOKAPU) youth wing led by its national acting coordinator, comrade Luke Augustine Duniya.

Comrade Luke who thanked the legal jurist for the warm reception he accorded the group despite his tight schedules, hailed the Senior advocate for demonstrating a high sense of love to the union and the utmost respect he constantly accorded the people of Southern Kaduna.

He further informed the Kaduna based Senior Advocate that aside the usual familiarization tour his leadership has embarked upon, the union’s visit was aimed at seeking his fatherly words and wisdom in order to guide his team to succeed in its reunification mandate of the Southern kaduna youths worldwide.

He also congratulated him on his recent elevation to the position of Senior Advocate of Nigeria.

While responding, Barrister Atung wholeheartedly welcomed the leadership and sued for unity of purpose among the union.

He enjoyed all and sundry in Southern Kaduna to be more pragmatic in their leadership responsibilities by holding the collective interest of the people in high esteem.

He further challenged the youth leader and his team to work out modalities to end all pending issues in the union so as to strengthen peace and unity among the young people in Southern Kaduna.

Barrister Sam Atung also spoke bitterly about the state of political development in Southern Kaduna, a situation he described as very unfortunate.

He revealed that the enemies of peace and development in Southern Kaduna are the selfish politicians and religious fanatics from the zone.

Finally, the Senior Advocate noted that the people must learn to tolerate each other and discuss about their common goal and how to work together as a team in achieving them for common good.
