Nigerian singer Spyro has stirred conversation online after revealing the strict personal rules he enforces during his music video productions.

In a recent statement, the singer made it clear that anyone working with him must adhere to his values, regardless of their status in the industry.

“If you want to shoot a music video with me, you’re not allowed to smoke or romance any girl on set. I don’t care who you are,” he said.

Spyro also shared a personal moment involving fellow artist Shoday, revealing how he once reached out to him after seeing him in a club.

“When I saw Shoday promoting our song in a club, I called him and told him to give his life to Christ,” he added.

His remarks have sparked mixed reactions across social media. While some fans praised his discipline and commitment to his beliefs, others questioned whether such strict rules might be limiting in the entertainment industry.

Supporters argue that Spyro’s stance reflects a growing trend of artists setting boundaries that align with their personal and spiritual values. Critics, however, believe the music industry thrives on creative freedom and diverse expressions.
