Nollywood actor Stan Nze has shared his thoughts on Nigeria’s political landscape, emphasizing the need for competent leadership and national progress.
In a statement that has sparked conversations online, Nze said his support is driven not by tribal sentiments but by a desire to see a better Nigeria.
“I only want to see a better Nigeria. It doesn’t have to be Peter Obi. I’m not looking for someone from my tribe, but for a candidate who has Nigerians at heart and can move the country forward, not one step forward and ten steps backward,” he said.
The actor added that, based on his assessment so far, he believes Peter Obi stands out among the candidates in terms of vision and capability.
“So far, I haven’t seen any better candidate than Peter Obi in this election,” he stated.
Nze also stressed that governance goes beyond ethnic or regional lines, noting that leadership decisions affect all Nigerians regardless of background.
“The truth is that governance doesn’t affect only one tribe or region, it affects everyone,” he added.
His remarks have since generated mixed reactions, with supporters applauding his stance on unity and accountability, while others continue to debate the qualities required for effective leadership in Nigeria.
