A fiery journalist with the CableNews, Fredrick Nwabufo has urged media organisations in Nigeria to starve Miyetti Allah, the Indigenous People Of Biafra (IPOB), Sunday Igboho, a Yoruba rights activist and others media coverage before Nigeria will go up in flames.

The journalist was reacting to the recent ethnic violence that has resulted to the unfortunate death and destruction of properties in some Southern part of Nigeria.

He said, “The media needs to starve Miyetti Allah, IPOB, Sunday Igboho and others of the same complexion, of attention. Time to take back our country from war mongers.”

The appeal of Fredrick Nwabufo is coming after another journalist, Yushua Shuaib accused some section of the Nigerian media of reckless and irresponsible reports.

He also attacked another group whom he described as cowardly and pompous writers stirring embers of war.

Recalled that there have been tension in the Southern part of Nigeria after Sunday Igboho, a Yoruba rights activist issued eviction notice to terror herdsmen accused of kidnapping, rape and destruction of farmlands in Oyo and Ondo State.

The same eviction notice was also replicated by the Indigenous People Of Biafra (IPOB) which culminated to the invasion of Fulani settlement at Isuikwuato in Abia State by Eastern Security Network (ESN), a security outfit floated by Nnamdi Kanu.

However, President Buhari, in press statement yesterday, vowed that his administration will deal with anyone stoking ethnic hatred among Nigerians.
