The Supreme Court has finally affirmed Chief Edozie Njoku as the authentic Chairman of the All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA), deleting Chief Victor Oye’s name in the process.
The decision followed a new enrolment order of an earlier judgement issued by five 5 Justices of the apex court today, July 15, 2022.
The 5 Supreme Court judges removed Oye’s name in the judgement of October 14, 2021 and replaced same with that of Chief Njoku.
The judges removed Oye’s name as the Respondent in the judgement of October 14, 2022, and replaced same with that of Chief Edozie Njoku.
They also removed Oye’s name in the enrollment order as a Respondent and replaced same with that of Chief Edozie Njoku.
The resolution, therefore, makes Njoku the authentic National Chairman of APGA.
Consequently, all candidates under the former National Chairman of APGA are now voided.
Furthermore, the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) has been served with the latest decision and the new enrollment order of the Supreme Court.
Also, Njoku’s list of candidates can now be published as the candidates of APGA for 2023 general elections.
Below is the new enrollment order published showing Chief Edozie Njoku as the Respondent:
