Suspected Fulani Gunmen Attack Buhari’s State, Kill 3 Injure 5

Suspected Fulani marauding band has attacked six communities in Batagarawa LGA in Katsina State, the home state of President Muhammadu Buhari.

The invaders left in their wake three persons dead and five hospitalised.

The member representing Batagarawa constituency in the state House of Assembly, Hon Yakubu Tsanni announced this to the House on Wednesday.

Declaring it a matter of urgent attention, Hon Tsanni called on security authorities to come to the aid of the area.

The affected communities are Bambami, Tsanni, Dabai Bayawa, Makatanawa, Dan Iya and Alale. 

The Speaker, Yahaya Kusada condemning the attack, referred to similar incidents at Kaita and Bindawa few weeks apart.

He, thereafter, asked the House Committee on Security to galvanise security agents to fish out the culprits and find lasting solution to the recurring menace.
