Suspended Fake Policeman Threatens Lives Of Whistleblower & Relatives

A policeman who goes by the official name “ASP Bernard Agada “AP100593”, but was actually revealed to be “George Ejeh Stephen” that was suspended has been found to be threatening the lives of the citizen that blew the whistle on him, including that of his relatives.

ASP Bernard Agada was suspended by the Police Service Commission which plenary meeting sat on 26th October, 2017.

Recall that Elombah.com had published documents and photos of the fake police officer, an ordinary ASP that is reportedly richer than a king along with his properties.

According to information made available to Elombah.com by an anti-corruption group, Eagle Eyes Transparency International, ASP Bernard Agada was a drop-out of Army Day Secondary School, Chindit Barrack, Zaria.

He, however, procured the certificate [Academic] with which he was employed 26 six years ago. 

This medium gathered that he changed to the name “Bernard Agada” because he engaged in robbery act and was remanded in prison custody with his real name “George Ejeh Stephen” between 1988 and 1990.

It is also gathered that he wormed his way into the past government of President Good luck Ebele Jonathan where he rose to the position of Chief Personal Security officer.

His source of wealth, it was also learnt was that he benefitted from the renowned arms deal for which former National Security Adviser [NSA], Colonel Sambo Dasuki has spent about two years behind bars.

ASP Bernard Agada’s bubble busted when he was arrested and a plaque of an award given by Owukpa Daughters of Zion [ODZ], Abuja branch [right], was found in his home which led to further discoveries upon investigation.

It was then discovered that he was remanded in prison custody with his real name “George Ejeh Stephen” between 1988 and 1990.

It was also discovered that his entry name and certificate into the Force were all fake!

Mr George Ejeh Stephen, a billionaire, has properties running into billions scattered all over Abuja, especially the Kurudu area of Apo and Mararaba axis. 

In a subsequent bulletin, Eagle Eyes International Transparency accused PSC chairman, Mr Okiro Mike of shielding the police felon, ASP Bernard Agada, from prosecution.

Eagle Eyes made this known in a letter addressed to the Inspector-General of Police, Ibrahim Kpotum Idris and another memo sent to Elombah.com.

In the development, Eagle Eyes said that it has written to IGP of Police on the criminal nature of Bernard Agada, who procured certificates to enroll in the NPF. 

The group also stated that Agada is an armed robber who is worth N5 Billion in Abuja and currently serving in FCT command CIID of the NPF. 

According to them, the Inspector General of Police directed that he should be dismissed and prosecuted since July 2017.

In reaction, PSC denied the report that it is shielding a Police felon from prosecution.

It said in a press statement signed by the Head, Press and Public Relations, Mr. Ikechukwu Ani that the publication is “in bad taste and unfortunate”.

The Commission, however, admitted receiving a the letter from the Police Force Headquarters which recommended the suspension of ASP Agada over issues ranging from certificate forgery and other related offences.

It assures that the Department of Police Discipline has processed the recommendation after Departmental investigation.

It further stated that the recommendation of the Department is awaiting consideration of the Standing Committee of the Commission on Police Discipline.

Thereafter, it will be presented to the Plenary, the highest decision making body of the Commission, for final decision.

True to its words, PSC suspended him on the 26 October.

However, Mr Agada is yet to give up. The erring officer has launched vicious attack against those that blew the lid on him.

It was gathered that he has initiated threat to the lives of the whistle blower and his relatives.

So far, the whistleblower, Mr Femi Akintola of the Eagle Eyes Transparency International, in a memo delivered to Elombah.com, said that he “has suffered untold harassments from police officers from the CIID FCT Command headed by one DCP Bala Chiroma.”

“The latest,” he continued, “is that the drowning ASP arrested a family member Keneth Ujah on trumped up allegations of N20 million from him. 

“He currently detained him in Jikwoyi police station and sized his car and locked it in his house. 

“He did similar thing to the Whistleblower on the 24th August, 2017, @ 2pm. 

“The unfortunate thing is DCP Bala Chiroma sees white and calls it Black. 

“Why is this Erring Cop not facing Prosecution?” He asked.

“What is Authority waiting for? Till he kills those who revealed him? 

“He and the younger brother threatened war if he is dismissed from NPF. Could this be the starting of the war?”

He enjoined patriotic Nigerians to stayed turned to the development as it unfolds to ensure Mr Agada does not live up to his threats ant extinguish the whistleblowers.

Meanwhile, in a later report, he informed Elombah.com that “stern looking plain security agents [have been deployed to secure the whistleblower who revealed a FAKE ASP who is in NPF FCT CIID”.

He also informed that he is “hence fired and awaiting arraignment in court.

“Serious preparations on the way to arraign him next week. He has been suspended. With Eight Count charges,” he concluded.
