Reno Omokri, former aide to ex-President Goodluck Jonathan and a past critic of President Bola Tinubu, has reacted to his nomination as ambassador designate with a gracious post on Facebook.
“Tinubu has taught me the meaning of forgiveness,” Omokri wrote, expressing gratitude for the opportunity to serve Nigeria.
He praised Tinubu’s leadership, describing him as “the right man, at the right time, for the right job” and commending his Christ-like forgiveness.
Omokri also thanked his parents, Malam Nuhu Ribadu, and his wife Hana for their support, notably acknowledging the challenges he faced as a supporter of Tinubu during his previous criticisms.
“May God bless you, Mr President, and may Nigeria prosper under your leadership,” Omokri added, embracing his nomination as a chance to serve his country and humanity.
