Tinubu is my father — Gov Sanwo-Olu denies alleged rift

The governor of Lagos State Babajide Sanwo-Olu, has debunked speculations of a fallout between him and President Bola Tinubu, insisting their relationship remains solid and deeply respectful.

Sanwo-Olu said this after he met with the President at his Bourdillon residence in the highbrow Ikoyi area of Lagos.

During the visit to Tinubu alongside members of the All Progressives Congress (APC) Governors Advisory Council, Sanwo-Olu addressed the controversy.

Speaking to newsmen after the meeting, he dismissed any suggestion of discord.

“There is no rift. He is my father, he is my leader,” Sanwo-Olu said, reiterating the strength of their relationship and brushing aside the speculation as unfounded.
