#TodayInHistory: Sam Okwaraji died during Nigeria Vs Angola match in Lagos

Today marks 30 years (12th August 1989), since the Imo state born Lawyer cum footballer Sam Sochukwuma Okwaraji, collapsed on the field of play and died of.

Okwaraji, according to medical reports, died of heart complications while playing for Nigeria national team, then known as Green Eagles, versus Angola in Lagos.
