The Nigerian Army’s Operation HADIN KAI has successfully ambushed a Boko Haram/Islamic State West Africa Province logistics convoy in Borno State, killing 21 terrorists.

The operation was launched after receiving credible intelligence about over 100 Boko Haram fighters assembling in Sojiri and Kayamla communities to plan attacks and supply their enclaves.

The troops, working with the Civilian Joint Task Force (CJTF) and local vigilantes, engaged the terrorists in a fierce firefight, thwarting their attempt to flank the troops.
