Troops neutralise 3 suicide bombers

The Nigerian military’s Operation HADIN KAI has neutralized three terrorist suicide bombers in Borno State’s Gwoza Local Government Area.

The operation was intelligence-led, involving troops and local volunteer forces tracking the bombers along the Guduf-Pulka axis.

According to a statement issued on Thursday by the Media Information Officer, Headquarters Joint Task Force (North East) Operation HADIN KAI, Lieutenant Colonel Sani Uba, troops also dealt significant blows to the terrorists providing escort to the suicide bombers.

Recovered items include suicide vests and improvised explosive device materials.

The neutralized bombers were reportedly linked to Ali Ngulde’s Jama’atu Ahlis Sunna Lidda’awati wal-Jihad (JAS) faction of Boko Haram.

Meanwhile, Operation HADIN KAI has intensified efforts to detect and neutralize terrorist elements, leveraging human intelligence and community collaboration.
