Trump Attacks Conservative Voices Opposing Iran War

United States President Donald Trump has lashed out at several prominent conservative commentators who have spoken against his stance on the Iran war, branding them “attention-seeking” and dismissing their criticism in a fiery social media post.

In a lengthy rant shared online, Trump didn’t hold back. He described his critics as “stupid people” and went further to call them “nut jobs” who, in his view, are only chasing relevance.

Among those he singled out were Tucker Carlson and Megyn Kelly, along with Candace Owens and Alex Jones.

All four have been openly critical of Trump’s position on Iran, accusing him of walking away from his earlier anti-war stance and, in some cases, suggesting he is yielding to pressure from Israel.

Their criticism has exposed a growing divide within Trump’s support base something that could become a political headache for Republicans as midterm elections draw closer.

Trump, however, brushed off their influence, claiming they’ve lost relevance and are no longer taken seriously.

He mocked their careers, saying they’ve been pushed out of mainstream television and are now relying on controversy to stay in the spotlight.

The clash also revives past tensions.

Trump revisited his long-running feud with Megyn Kelly, referencing a heated exchange during his first presidential campaign when she questioned him about remarks he had made about women.

At the time, his response sparked widespread backlash.

He didn’t stop there. Trump took personal shots at the others as well criticising Carlson’s educational background, taking a swipe at Owens while referencing her comments about France’s First Lady Brigitte Macron, and saying Jones deserved the financial troubles he faced after legal battles over false claims about a school shooting.

The response from those targeted was swift. Candace Owens fired back on social media with a jab at Trump’s age, while Alex Jones said he no longer supports the former president and welcomed the distance between them.

As the war debate continues, the public fallout highlights a deeper rift within Trump’s inner circle one that could shape political conversations in the months ahead.
