Udom’s Media Aide Sues Eket Students Against Social Vices

The Special Assistant to Governor Udom Emmanuel on Media, Mr Essien Ndueso, has charged Eket students to be diligent in their studies and shun all forms of social vices that could ruin their future.

He gave the advice during the inauguration ceremony of Eket Students Association (EKSA) executives, Uniuyo chapter which took place at the Community Centre, University of Uyo Town Campus recently.

Speaking at the event, Mr Ndueso stated that Eket people are known for their good works which had produced great individuals for the state like Brigadier General Udoakaha Esuene. And as such, Eket students should brace up to the challenge of bringing out their best in every environment they find themselves.

He described Governor Udom Emmanuel as a caring father who was investing in free and qualitative education for the young ones and was also busy creating  job opportunities and wealth for the state.

The Governor’s aide urged the students to go out en mass and participate in the ongoing voters’ registration so that they would be eligible to vote during the 2019 elections and also made a cash donation of N50,000 to the students.

The newly sworn in president of the association, Comrade Etukudoh Ekaesere, in his speech, pledged to be loyal and fair in the discharge of his duties, and work with the new executive members.
