UK Police Arrests Ex-Arsenal Star, Eboue For Alleged Arson

Eboue allegedly burnt his house court awarded to his ex-wife

The British Metropolitan Police has, on Saturday, arrested former Arsenal soccer star, Emmanuel Eboue for alleged arson in Enfield, the United Kingdom.

Eboue was arrested for allegedly torching his house that the court awarded to his ex-wife, Aurelie Bertrand,  following their divorce.

A statement by Met following his arrest reads:

“Police investigating an alleged arson at a residential address in Enfield on Saturday, 30 June, arrested a 35-year-old man on suspicion of arson and malicious communications outside the address at around 17:00hrs on Saturday, 7 July.”

The right back played for the Gunners during his heydays.

Eboue was an Arsenal player between 2005 and 2011 but has been without a club since 2016.

Emmanuel Eboué is an Ivorian former professional footballer who played as a right back.

Formed at ASEC Mimosas, he moved to Europe to play for Belgium’s Beveren in 2002.

He was born on 4 June 1983 (age 35 years) in Abidjan, Côte d’Ivoire
