Ukachukwu Pledges To Revolutionize Agriculture, Industrialization

The candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in the forthcoming November 8, 2025, governorship election in Anambra State, Prince Nicholas Ukachukwu, has pledged to revolutionize agriculture and industrialization in the state.

Citizens of the state would be experiencing a major positive time when Prince Ukachukwu takes over the mantle of leadership in the state.

Prince Ukachukwu made the pledge while addressing a mammoth crowd of Catholic faithful and friends of the St Joseph’s Catholic Cathedral, Ekwulobia in Aguata Council of Anambra State, during the maiden Diocesan Convention of the Catholic Men Organization (CMO).

Ukachukwu assured of bringing good governance to the people, especially mechanized agriculture and industrialization all over the state.

CMO, meanwhile, launched the CADEK Integrated Farm project held at the Cathedral.

The governorship candidate also disclosed his plans for better Anambra, on how to secure the lives and properties of the people, creating avenue for poverty to be flushed out of the state.

He also disclosed plans to leverage artificial intelligence to boost agriculture productivity values chain.

This, according to him, will involve farmers, seed distribution and preserving companies, infrastructure providers, funding agencies to enable productivity and support farmers.

He lamented how his twelve major industries in the state were forced to close down due to insecurity.

He said: “That is why I made insecurity my priority.

“Many do not visit home any longer due to insecurity in the state.

“But I will ensure that insecurity will stop drastically in the state to enable investors partner with the state.

“We need to stop kidnapping, sale of human parts, and make anambra a liveable place again “.

In his remarks, the Diocesan chaplain Rev. Father Peter Nwankwo, pointed out that the idea of establishing an integrated farm project is a decision in the right direction.

CMO President, Hon. Mathew Ezeilo, noted that it is planned that garri processing factory, palm kernel processing factory and other processing industries shall be established in the farm.

He stated that the farm is aimed at having a mechanised poultry farming fishing, piggery, snail rearing, grasscutter farm and farming section in different cash crops like cassava, maize, yam, cocoyam.

He added that CMO-CADEK wants to be part of the basket of the nation in the nearest future.

The Bishop, His Eminence, Cardinal Peter Ebele Okpaleke thanked Ukachukwu for making out time to visit the church and support their programmes.

He commended his steadfastness as a leader, industrialist and supporter of God’s works.
