Update: All 11 on board crashed Helicopter rescued alive – NEMA

UPDATE:

The National Emergency Management Agency [NEMA] has stated that all the 11 passengers aboard the Helicopter belonging to Bristow Helicopters that crashed have been rescued alive.

According to NEMA, the Helicopter didn’t actually crash but was rather a deliberate emergency landing by the Captain to avoid an imminent danger.

The Helicopters was flown right into the Atlantic Ocean from where the occupants  were rescued.

The search and rescue was conducted by the Nigerian Maritime Administration and Safety Agency [NIMASA], NEMA and other related agencies.

A Helicopter alleged belonging to Bristow Helicopters  has crashed.

The helicopter was said to travelling from Port Harcourt to Lagos when it disappeared from radar.

The Accident Investigative Bureau (AIB) said there were nine passengers and two crew members on board the ill-fated aircraft.
