Just In: Gov Ortom 's aide - Igbana Denen - assassinated

Unknown gunmen shot and killed the Senior Special Assistant to the Governor of Benue State on Security Matters Hon Igbana Denen.

According to Benue Forum, the Gov’s aide was shot dead in his house about 2:30am this morning.

A certain Terwase Agwaza popularly called Ghana is being accused of being responsible.

He is the former leader of the notorious criminal gang that led over 300 followers to accept the Benue State Governor’s amnesty programme in 2015.

The Benue State Governor, Samuel Ortom has directed security operatives to fish out the perpetrators.

He added that the so-called Ghana would be brought in for questioning if he is implicated in the investigation.
