In a bid to bring a lasting peace to the warring Communities in Anambra and Kogi State namely Innoma Community in Anambra West Local Government and Ika Community in Ibaji Local Government of Kogi State.

Igwe Anthony Onyekwere (Igwe of Owelle), Hon. Fidelis Nnazo, the PG of Nzam, and Hon. Ibechi Samuel the PG of Owelle amongst several others on Sunday 24th January were at Innoma and Ika Community where they engaged the warring town in a peace and conflict resolution process.

The meeting was very fruitful after several hours as the two warring Communities agreed to lay down their guns,

The enumerated their grievances which led to the conflict and promised to meet again after few days in a bid to completely resolve the crisis.

However, Hon. Fidelis Nnazo, the PG of Nzam expressed his displeasure over the Police Officers who were not in sight at the warring Communities but rather were at his town NZAM where there is no conflict.

He called on the Anambra State Government to expedite action in bringing permanent peace between the two neighbouring Communities in Anambra and Kogi State.
