UPDATE: US Secretary of State moves to Lagos Later tonight

After arriving the Presidential Villa, Abuja, Anthony Blinken, United States’ Secretary of State, as gathered will be moving to later Tuesday night where it is being speculated he will have proper talks with President Bola Tinubu.

As also learnt, Blinken will be haiving other engagements in the former capital territory of Nigeeria.

The US  Secretary of State arrived Abuja at 4 pm Tuesday on his planned African tour.

It is yet unclear if a scheduled bilateral talk with Tinubu would hold today.

Blinken is on a tour of some Africa countries namely, Cape Verde, Angola, Nigeria and Ivory Coast, where he hopes to strengthen US bilateral interest.

From the Presidency, he will later depart for Lagos at about 10 pm for other engagements scheduled for tomorrow, Wednesday.

He is expected to depart Nigeria for Angola later tomorrow night.
