It is democracy in action and a confirmation of the people’s mandate to you in the April 2015 Gubernatorial Election in Abia State. Your victory is sweet music in the ears of all lovers of democracy in Nigeria, particularly the good people of Abia State who yearn for a visionary, purposeful and dynamic Governor to restore the lost glory of the State.
We commend the Justices of the Supreme Court for restoring confidence in the Judiciary as the last hope of all aggrieved people and bringing to a peaceful end the Governorship Election dispute that polarized the patriotic people of God’s Own State.
With the apex Court verdict upholding your mandate, it is time to provide dividends of democracy to the longsuffering people of Abia State. The task ahead is enormous and demands the support and cooperation of all indigenes of the State irrespective of political affiliation.
The good people of Abia State desire and deserve excellent infrastructure, good healthcare, quality education, mechanized agriculture, employment opportunity and security.
May God give you the wisdom, strength and resources to transform Abia State and restore its past glory as the commercial hub of Eastern Nigeria.
