
The former Speaker, Imo state House of Assembly and the Imo North senatorial candidate of the All Progressive Congress (APC), Rt. Hon. Benjamin Uwajumogu, has commiserated with the publisher of the Nigerian Horn newspaper, High Chief. Bright Njoku, over the death of his father, late Elder John Njoku, who until his death was a divot Christian and the pillar of the Njoku family.
Rt. Hon. Uwajumogu, who expressed sadness over Elder Njoku’s demise, described him as a role model and the pillar of the Nkoku’s family, whose fatherly care and unquantifiable support would be greatly missed by his children and the entire family.
He maintained that his invaluable contributions to the society and the Church of God has suffered a huge set back, adding that they would however be consoled by the fact that Elder Njoku, bequeathed indelible legacies, not only for his children, but for the society and the Church.
The former Speaker, also pointed out that the late Elder Njoku, who was a devout Christian, left when his services were needed by his immediate family and community in general, adding that his enormous contributions when he was alive would always be referenced andp appreciated.
He however, charged Chief Bright Njoku , his immediate family members , well-wishers of the family and the entire Management and staff of Nigerian Horn newspapers, to be consoled in the fact that their late father, husband and friend lived a commendable life worthy of emulation, while urging them to always emulate those enduring legacies he left behind.
He prayed God to grant his soul eternal rest, while giving them the fortitude to bear the irreparable loss.
