A physical fight broke out between social media activist Martins Vincent Otse, aka, VeryDarkMan, and comedian Freedom, Mr. Jollof, on a United Nigeria Airlines flight from Asaba to Lagos on Monday morning before takeoff.
Passengers intervened to separate the duo, leading airline officials to remove both men from the aircraft at Asaba International Airport.
Meanwhile, VDM confirmed the fight on his Facebook page, claiming to have dealt with Mr Jollof.
He said: ‘”I don chop Jollof fada for inside plane. Man when dey bite. E nor shame, e dey bite. Man when dey bite. I be@t….dem dey beg…dem dey help am.
“I enter plane, I see am naim I tell am say today you go slap me oo…I go near and naim e punch me…when I follow am, e start to bite me…him eye red”.
The incident arises from a year-long online face-off over fraud accusations and personal threats, with the Nigerian Civil Aviation Authority now investigating potential safety violations.
