An eleven-seconds-video has confirmed attacked on Senator Isah Misau [above], who represents Bauchi Central district.
The said attack was by irate youths, on Saturday in Ningi, part of his constituency.
Senator Misau is one of the core supporters of embattled Senate Bukola Saraki who is currently facing trial at CCT.
The two sources said Mr. Misau was in Ningi for a social function when he came under attack.
It was at the social function that the Senator was pelted with stones and bottles our correspondent gathered reliably.
Mr. Misau was attacked because of his support for the embattled Senate President, Bukola Saraki.
Saraki is under public pressure to resign because of his ongoing corruption trial at the Code of Conduct Tribunal.
To show his support to Saraki, Misau had last week presented amendment on Administration of Criminal Justice Ac t(ACJA) which was passed into first reading.
Misau, who is the Chairman, Senate Committee on Navy, had said majority of senators are behind Saraki.
