VIDEO: Natasha Akpoti makes shocking revelation how Gov Bello allegedly released Kuje death row inmate, used him as thug

The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) candidate for the Kogi Central Senatorial District, Mrs. Natasha Akpoti-Uduaghan, on Friday, made shocking revelation alleging that the Kogi State Governor, Alhaji Yahaya Bello, granted pardon to a prisoner on death row, one Shafiu, alongside other “hardened criminals”.

Mrs. Akpoti-Uduaghan made the shocking allegation during an interview on The Morning Show on Arise Television.

She alleged that Governor Bello facilitated the release of Shafiu from Kuje Prison in Abuja and was reportedly using him as a political thug.

The Senatorial candidate went down memory line to further reveal how the state’s government house was thrown open to the former death row prisoner who was reportedly seen hobnobbing with Yahaya Bello in some videos and photos.

Things suddenly went south, she claimed, when Shafiu suddenly dumped Governor Bello and his All Progressives Congress (APC) and decamped to PDP.

Consequent upon the decampment, Bello asked security agencies to arrest Akpoti-Uduaghan over alleged involvement and sponsoring terrorism.

On her part, Akpoti-Uduaghan petitioned the Department of State Security (DSS) as well as the Nigeria Police Force and provided evidence of alliance between Governor Bello  and Shafiu, a death row inmate he released from Abuja all the way from Kogi State.

Natasha also made several other allegations including how the governor threatened her town people with sending them to their graves if they voted any other political party in the coming elections besides APC. Read more.
