Vigilant men of the Nigerian Navy have foiled another attempted oil theft near Itolu Community, Lekki, Lagos State on August 29, 2023.

The naval operatives arrested four individuals wearing black polo shirts with TANTITA inscription, as well as a large wooden boat laden with 11 x 1000L Geepee tanks with the stolen products.

TANTITA is the security company of a retired Niger Delta warlord, Government Oweizide Ekpemupolo, aka Tompolo, who was awarded a forty-eight billion Naira contract to protect pipelines from crude oil thieves and vandals.
