Officials of a filling station belonging to the Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation (NNPC) Limited in Prot Harcourt, Rivers State, were caught on camera cheating customers of the now very expensive Premium Motor Spirit (PMS), otherwise known as Petrol.
The officials were seen pilfering left 0ver fuel from the hoses which could reportedly measure up to one liter.
The poster of the video regretted how far people can go to perpetrate fraud.
He said: “There should be no excuse for fraud. This is an obvious Syndicate of Fuel Theft.
“They have sat, had conversations, and developed strategies on how to defraud innocent citizens who are already paying through their teeth for fuel.
“It’s disheartening that this is in NNPC. They must be punished for this and should serve as a deterrence to anyone devising other means.”
