VIDEO: Umahi sends Police to Peter Obi rally in Ebonyi who fired bullets, teargas & arrested Obidients

The rally in Ebonyi State in support of the Labour Party (LP) presidential candidate, Mr. Peter Gregory Onwubuasi Obi on Saturday, turned violent as police operatives stormed the venue.

The rampaging officers fired live bullets and teargas, and arrested on ground some “Obidients”, as the supporters of Peter Obi are called.

According to eyewitnesses, the policemen, were sent by the Governor of Ebonyi State, Engr. David Nweze Umahi, who also doubles as the Chairman of the South East Governor’s forum.

The security personnel reportedly made all frantic efforts to disrupt the peaceful rally. Read more.
