Nigeria’s Vice President, Prof Yemi Osinbajo, SAN, has stated that he and his crew are safe and sound following the crash of the helicopter conveying him and his entourage to Kogi State on Saturday.

Prof. Osinbajo stated this on the official handle of his Twitter account.

In the tweet, Osinbajo, assured of his safety, as well as others.

He thank everyone who has expressed concern following the ordeal.

He also thanked the crew who managed the situation well.

He expressed optimism that “God will continue to keep us and Nigeria safe even as we go higher”.

He concluded with “we continue #NextLevelEngagements in Kabba, Kogi State”.
